Twenty-four pictures of Christmas in London, 2017.
Well, that put me in the mood. Thank you and Merry Christmas (I mean it).
Those great photos said Christmas to me. Sadly.
Again, thanks for your last year’s comment that every day in 2016 you wore a tie. I have six days to go to keep my resolution for 2017 — thinking if you could do THAT — I could throw out ONE THING A DAY. I sometimes counted individually all objects the same category. To date I’ve pitched 6,194 objects from my studio/house. I find no discernible difference in my material environment and I am not a hoarder! I read that the average North American house has 300,000 objects in it. Such an even number.
I should add that I’ve written “obits” on the pitched items. The daily journal is now 118 pages, with lots of jpgs.
I sent it via pdf to a “Subscription List” 2 pages a time every week or so. It’s considered by many to be hilarious & thoughtful & inspiring in equal measure. I learned one embues objects with sentience and they fight back: They live to see another day.
